Project Manager HVDC

Role Overview: Energy System Project Manager is responsible for leading the execution of projects in alignment with company policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. You will support the organization in process improvement to enhance project execution effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the project team, establish project execution approach, and oversee project hand-over, planning, monitoring, and control activities for internal and external resources to achieve project goals. - Monitor and control project progress, ensuring efficient resource utilization. - Oversee project financials, including invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow. Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks while pursuing opportunities. - Drive formal acceptance of the project, ensure contract close-out, and obtain customer acknowledgment. - Procure necessary services, materials, and equipment from external and internal suppliers, supporting negotiations, claims, and project changes. - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Act as the primary customer contact and escalation point for project issues. Apply advanced knowledge to manage projects independently with limited supervision. - Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for actions and caring for colleagues and the business. Qualifications Required: - 12 to 15 years of experience in Project Management for complex projects & Substation (EPC, Thermal, Steel, etc.). - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with PMP/PMI certification. - Proficiency in spoken and written English language is essential.
