Project Manager - Electrical Project Execution

Role & responsibilities

Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in Electrical Projects( EHV/220/400 KV/765KV and 132/110/33 KV/11 KV Sub Stations).

• Excellent Planning execution of the Project activities of EHV Transmission line projects and AIS/GIS Substations construction projects, EHV Switch c Yards, BAY Extensions in line with EHS and Quality Management, Project Management Project Coordination in time.
• Single Point end to end Responsibility of EHV Tower Foundations and Associated Civil Works.
• Collaborate and close coordination with various statutory bodies Power Grid /TRANSCOs/DISCOMs/CEIG/ROW/ Local Govt Authorities, Design Teams for construction Drawings for availing mandatory sanctions/ Permits/ as well as obtaining permission for execution of project; skilled in planning, monitoring, and controlling project schedules and ensure that the targets are achieved within budget and time.

• Material Management:

  Material requirement quantity as per construction/erection stage wise submission of supply erection RA bills to concerned Electricity authority close coordination with Procurement Teams and connected Key Vendors Like Tower Fabricators, Conductor Suppliers etc.
• Detail knowledge about Erection, Testing and commissioning of EHV substations(New and Augmentation work, Modification works) 220 KV/400 KV/765/KV
• Planning and coordination of projects of substations 33KV / 132 KV and EHV substations 220 KV up to 400 KV, 765 KV.
• Experience with EHV Under Ground HT Cable Projects & EHV under Ground Cables 220KV/400 KV above combinable to AI Ready Data Centers Highly preferable.
• Experience of Electrification and power Distribution works with all knowledge of Erection of 230V/400V/03KV, 11kv, 33 kv 33 kv LT Lines, Distribution Transformer, DTR Installations, BPL Meter connections, survey, measurement, PCC Panels, MCC Panels, DBs, HT/LT Cables, Terminations, Switch Yards, House wiring, Internal and External Lighting systems, HVAC, Fire Protection, CCTV, UPS Power System, DG Set Power Back up cabling and Associated Misc.Electrical works etc.
• Knowledge in HVDC Transmission, Projects execution including Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Associated Substations,
• Must maintain project related documentation. Responsible for material reconciliation and joint measurement with sub contractor clients.
• Responsible for Reviewing Technical Specifications, Electrical Designs, Project Drawing, Safety of the Man Material and Machinery.
• Knowledge in cost saving methods. Mobilization of labor for project execution. Optimum utilization of resources.
• Allocation of work to sub- contractors periodical inspection as per bar chart.
• Provide company management regular updates and maintain communication throughout regarding project schedules/status
• Revenue planning of the projects and mapping the same within deadline time, Project Progress planning and execution accordingly.
• Coordination and planning with sub-contractors for execution of site works and fulfil safety compliances on daily basis.
• Preparing Measurement sheet for the purpose of billing and reconciliation.
• Regular follow up with clients for payment and other important documentation like drawing approvals, vendor approvals, inspections, dispatch clearance, manufacturing clearance, testing etc.
• Site progress tracking and proactively resolving issues involved in projects.
• Revenue collection from each project as per the plan.
• Ensure accurate project status tracking to facilitate project management reporting.
• Project scheduling weekly and monthly.
• MIS weekly report and submission to client.
