Job Description

You are an experienced Project Manager with a solid background in capital markets, entrusted to oversee and execute projects within a financial services organization. Your role demands a comprehensive understanding of capital markets operations, regulations, and technology platforms. Your primary responsibility is to ensure successful project delivery within specified timelines, scope, and budget, while aligning with strategic objectives and regulatory mandates. Your duties encompass various aspects, including project planning and execution. You are expected to develop detailed project plans, encompassing scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget allocation. Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies are crucial elements of your role. Efficient management of project budget, expenses, and resource allocation falls under your purview. Stakeholder management is a key component of your role. Collaborating with internal stakeholders from diverse functions such as business units, technology teams, compliance, legal, and risk management is essential. Effective communication of project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders at all levels is vital for ensuring alignment with business priorities. Regulatory compliance is another critical area of focus. Staying updated with regulatory changes impacting capital markets operations and ensuring project compliance with relevant regulations are integral parts of your responsibilities. You will also work closely with compliance and legal teams to embed regulatory requirements into project plans. Risk management plays a pivotal role in your job. Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks, including operational, financial, and regulatory risks, will be a key focus. Developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential issues and minimize disruptions is crucial. Vendor and third-party management are also within your ambit. Coordinating with vendors, consultants, and third-party service providers, evaluating their performance, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements and regulatory requirements are part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you are required to hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications such as PMP, CFA, or FRM are preferred. A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in capital markets or financial services is essential. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, knowledge of regulatory requirements, and strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are critical for success in this role.,
