Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project execution across hardware and embedded software programs, adherence to cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Define, implement, and monitor project governance processes aligned with APQP and automotive industry best practices.
• Track and manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource utilization using standard project management tools and dashboards.
• Lead risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems and maintain accuracy in project documentation, technical offers, and deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with Program Managers, Functional Managers, and customer teams to maintain clear communication and project visibility.
• Support project reviews, milestone tracking, and escalation management to ensure smooth progress and timely issue resolution.
• Mentor and guide Functional Managers and Technical Leads on effective project management practices and process adherence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency, visibility, and standardization.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering with 10 -15 years strong expertise in project management tools and methodologies.
• Good understanding of automotive electronics systems, embedded software, and product development lifecycles.
• Proven experience in managing automotive product development projects from concept to production.
• Proven experience in executing projects under the APQP framework, ensuring milestone-based governance and process adherence
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments and manage multiple priorities.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum are an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
