Project Management - Materials

Role Overview: As a Project Manager - Materials at INOPC, you will be a valuable member of the PGSV CH 2657 team. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the efficient functioning of the Service operations team by collaborating with Project managers and overseeing the procurement activities for materials required for various international GIS & GCB projects. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and manage production and order processes for the logistics centre and associated factories. - Monitor material and information flows, maintain master data, and oversee system parameters proactively. - Coordinate feasibility and availability analyses for customer quotations. - Act as a task force member for urgent troubleshooting in material management. - Manage material compliance activities from suppliers to the chamber of commerce, lead daily management meetings, and ensure follow-up on tasks. - Contribute to the development of the internal Power Platform (SEPP) for material management and support continuous improvement initiatives. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Hold a degree in BTech (EEE, Mech) with at least 5 years of experience in factory setup. - Proven experience in operations, supply chain management, or logistics; familiarity with GCB or GIS products is advantageous. - Hands-on experience in material handling and coordination with functions like Project Management, SCM, Logistics, etc. - Proficient with ERP systems, ideally SAP (modules MM, MRP, PP), including material master data, planning lists, production orders, and purchase requisitions. - Possess strong communication skills in English, especially when interacting with non-native English speakers. - Curious, reliable team player with the potential for growth into more advanced roles.
