Project Lead - Civil & Interiors

Position Summary

The Project Lead - Civil & Interiors is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of civil construction and interior fit-out projects for JLL clients. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the quality standards expected by JLL and our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Lead multiple civil construction and interior fit-out projects simultaneously from inception to completion
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
• Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage change orders and scope adjustments while minimizing impact on schedule and budget

Client Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects
• Understand client requirements and translate them into actionable project parameters
• Provide regular progress updates and communicate effectively with clients
• Manage client expectations and ensure high satisfaction throughout project delivery

Team Leadership

• Lead project teams including engineers, designers, contractors, and vendors
• Delegate tasks effectively and provide guidance to team members
• Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes innovation and problem-solving
• Mentor junior team members and support their professional development

Technical Oversight

• Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Implement quality control processes throughout project execution
• Provide technical solutions to complex construction and design challenges

Commercial Management

• Manage project budgets and track financial performance
• Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to achieve cost efficiencies
• Process contractor payments and manage financial reporting
• Support procurement activities and contract administration.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in construction project management with emphasis on civil works and interior fit-outs
• Proven track record of successfully delivering commercial construction projects.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Understanding of building codes and regulatory requirements
• Ability to interpret and review technical drawings and specifications

• Strong communication and client relationship management skills
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills

Certifications

• PMP, LEED AP, or equivalent professional certification preferred
