Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in mechanical or automobile engineering. The ideal candidate will have 35 years of hands-on experience in an engineering role, with expertise in 3D modeling and 2D drafting using CAD tools such as Solid Edge or SolidWorks. A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in casting, machining, and sheet metal components, is essential. Key Responsibilities: Create detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings for mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software (preferably Solid Edge or SolidWorks). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and procurement to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet project requirements. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to support production and assembly processes. Develop and modify designs based on testing results, client feedback, and production constraints. Provide technical support during prototype development and production runs. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures. Maintain accurate documentation and revision control of engineering drawings. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an engineering design or related role. Proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D drafting with CAD tools, preferably Solid Edge or SolidWorks. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including casting, machining, and sheet metal fabrication. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
