Project Engineer /Sr. Project Engineer - CAE (FEA with ANSYS Skills)

You have a user level knowledge of FEA, including preparation, post-processing, and meshing, as well as understanding FEA basics. You possess good tool knowledge of Ansys Workbench skills, including Design Modeler and Ansys Mechanical, as well as familiarity with CREO/space claim, GT Suite, AVL, and Simlab tool. Your clear understanding of engineering concepts and fundamentals such as FEM, SOM, fatigue, vibration, IC engine basics, and material properties is notable. It is preferred that you have working knowledge of FEA for 3D components. Having experience in the automotive domain, including block, head, exhaust manifolds, etc., is an added advantage. You should be an independent user capable of handling low complexity work and have knowledge of static, fatigue, thermal fatigue, DBJ, modal analysis, and sealing analysis. Your skills should include preprocessing, post-processing, results sanity check, and report preparation. You are expected to be able to handle medium to complex projects independently, make decisions, understand component physics, and execute non-standard tasks. You should also be able to work through and resolve model convergence issues with minimal support, draw conclusions based on analysis results, and suggest design improvements. Collaboration with component owners for quick analysis to design iterations is also a part of the role. Advance techniques/tool knowledge such as ANSYS Advance (using macros, non-linear materials, convergence, ACT usage, contact algorithms, fatigue damage, super elements, submodelling, mode frontier techniques, optimization, etc.) are preferred. Additionally, you should be able to review other projects. The educational qualification required for this role is B.E./M.Tech, with experience ranging from 1.5 to 3 years.,
