Project Engineer /Sr. Project Engineer - CAE - (FEA with ANSYS Skills) - Migration

As a FEA Project Engineer, you will lead and support projects utilizing ANSYS / ANSYS-Workbench to meet customer requirements. You will be responsible for interfacing with customers, ensuring regular project communications, and obtaining all necessary inputs for assessing stress, deformation, vibration, durability, and thermal performance of components and sub-systems. Your key responsibilities will include carrying out input reviews, conducting linear and non-linear stress analysis, thermal analysis, and dynamic analysis (modal and forced response). You will define and document project scope and approach, establish appropriate loads and boundary conditions, and set acceptance criteria. Additionally, you will perform analytical calculations using engineering fundamentals, validate analysis results, and provide design recommendations considering manufacturing, assembly, and cost considerations. To excel in this role, you must have 2 to 4 years of experience and hold a B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a preference for candidates with an M.Tech/M.E. in Mechanical System Design. Proficiency in ANSYS Workbench (Mechanical & Design Modeler/Space Claim) is a must, along with basic awareness of Creo. Your technical skills should encompass a strong understanding of strength of materials, machine design, engineering mechanics, and vibration analysis. Effective communication skills are essential, as you will be required to develop and deliver clear and tailored communications to various audiences. A customer-focused approach, dedication to self-development, and the ability to analyze load and boundary conditions are all critical for success in this role. Familiarity with modal, static, and fatigue analysis at the assembly level will be beneficial.
