Project Engineer

1. Basic Construction Knowledge:

   Understanding of structural elements: RCC, brickwork, plaster, waterproofing, etc. Site measurement, quantity estimation, and basic costing.

2. Finishing Work-Specific Knowledge:

   Tile flooring and dado works, Wall painting and putty, False ceiling works (gypsum, POP), Sanitary and CP fittings installation Door/window frame and shutter fixing, Modular kitchen, wardrobe, and other interior finishing supervision, Staircase railing, handrails, glass installation, Final coat waterproofing and terrace finishing Coordination for electrical and plumbing finishing points

3. Drawings and Specifications:

   Reading & understanding architectural and interior drawings Familiarity with working drawings, sections, and elevations, Checking levels and alignment as per design.

4. Quality Control:

   Knowledge of material specs (tiles, paint, CP fittings, etc.), Monitoring workmanship and finishing quality, Conducting snagging and de-snagging

5. Safety and Compliance:

   Ensuring safety in working areas (especially during internal works), Following IS codes & site protocols.

6. Experience:

   5 to 8 years site experience in residential or commercial finishing works preferred.

7. Soft Skills & Responsibilities:

   Coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and other departments (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC). Daily Progress Reporting and maintaining work registers. Problem-solving ability on-site with respect to finishes. Client handling (especially during handovers or sample approvals). Time management and labour handling

8. Tools Knowledge:

   MS Excel for reporting and measurement records, AutoCAD basics (for checking drawings)
