Project Engineer - Piping Projects

As a Project Engineer at Luthra Projects, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating project execution activities across India. With a strong mechanical background and proven project management skills, you will ensure adherence to technical specifications, project timelines, and client expectations. Here are the key responsibilities you will handle: - Schedule and conduct pre-installation site visits to assess site readiness and identify potential issues. - Coordinate closely with Site Engineers to verify on-site conditions and ensure compliance with project requirements. - Review and validate the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) against project scope and technical drawings. - Plan and manage the installation schedule, ensuring efficient resource deployment and timely completion. - Liaise with the installation and procurement teams to ensure material availability and workforce readiness. - Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and deviations from plan; implement corrective actions as necessary. - Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, quality norms, and engineering practices. - Facilitate regular communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams to maintain transparency and trust. - Participate in regular review meetings and prepare accurate project documentation, reports, and updates. Qualifications Required: - B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 3 years of experience in project execution, preferably in turnkey Piping projects. - Proven experience in handling full-cycle project execution. - Strong leadership and team coordination abilities. - Experience in labour planning, attendance tracking, and workforce allocation. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Good understanding of contracts, BOQs, and execution drawings. - Knowledge of project management tools, MS Office, and site documentation. - Awareness of industry safety and compliance standards.
