Job Description

Develop project plans, timelines, and coordinate with partners (DMI) and stakeholders. Oversee the design, layout, and construction of the sewer system and treatment plant. Monitor on-site activities, ensure safety, and maintain construction quality. Engage residents and train workers on system usage and maintenance. Provide regular project updates and reports to partners and authorities. Track expenses, manage vendor contracts, and ensure timely completion of works. Technical documentation including preparation of concept notes, assessment reports, Desired qualifications, expertise, and experience: bachelors degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering, with a masters in any relevant engineering field is optional. Thorough understanding of civil engineering concepts and proficiency in engineering drawing and design, including relevant software. 3+ years of experience in a similar role, focusing on WASH interventions Good understanding or experience in implementing WASH solutions at the city level. Good communication skills in English and Kannada. Experience working in small towns, particularly in Karnataka.
