Job Description

The position of Project Coordinator involves project management tasks such as Quality Surveillance and Expediting as a part of Third-party inspection for various projects. Your role will be aligned with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, following the BV Code of Ethics and Group policy. Your major responsibilities will include handling the PCM Siebel software tool to monitor project progress, including tasks such as inspection scheduling, man-day planning, time study, cost control, project timesheet management, and client reporting. You will coordinate and execute inspections for large projects across different clients. Additionally, you will provide assistance for the approval of project documents related to mechanical items requiring inspection at vendor sites. Your role will involve preparing annexures for invoicing and ensuring timely issuance of correct invoices to clients. Furthermore, you will be responsible for coordinating WWSI Inspection notifications and supporting timely invoicing processes. In terms of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) responsibilities, you must adhere to BV Cardinal Safety Rules at all times. Compliance with company HSE requirements, policies, procedures, guidelines, and local HSE legal obligations is essential. It is crucial to prioritize your own health and safety as well as that of your colleagues and others. Immediate reporting of any HSE-related concerns, incidents, or unsafe practices/conditions to your line manager is required. Additionally, you are encouraged to share opportunities for improving HSE aspects within the organization. Your performance will be evaluated based on your ability to perform and meet client expectations as per the contract terms. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-6 years of experience in project coordination and QA/QC fields. Key skills and qualities for this role include excellent interpersonal skills, being a task-oriented individual, possessing strong leadership abilities, having a pleasant personality, effective communication and presentation skills, proficiency in MS Office, and being a self-starter.,
