Project Coordinator / Engineer

As a Project Coordinator / Engineer, you should hold a B.E. in Civil Engineering or M. Tech in Construction Project Management with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in project or construction management, preferably in consultancy or construction organizations. Experience in Industrial construction is highly desirable. A degree in Construction/Project Management at the Bachelors or Masters level is required for this role. Your responsibilities will include working under the guidance of a senior project manager and providing support in various project management functions. Your tasks will involve preparing reports, charts, and other project-related documents, as well as facilitating communication with external project team members such as clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for preparing meeting minutes, expediting project timelines, and proactively identifying and addressing bottlenecks in the project workflow. Additionally, you will be involved in coordinating design and engineering activities across different disciplines and conducting clash checks between various project components. You will also be required to create preliminary schedules and bar-charts, possess a basic understanding of cost estimating, tendering processes, and tender documentation, and ensure the timely submission of project documents. Reporting potential or actual conflicts to the Project Manager promptly and preparing Catch-up plans and Look Ahead Schedules will be part of your regular duties. You should be proactive in expediting resolutions for queries during the execution stage and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
