Programmer

Role Overview: As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing web-based services and applications. You will work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the delivery of high-quality and reliable web applications. Monitoring application performance, conducting code reviews, and resolving application defects are also key responsibilities. Your role will involve application design, development, and deployment following industry best practices. Additionally, you will be expected to conduct application testing, perform upgrades for software and systems, and ensure timely project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Perform development of web-based services and applications - Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure delivery of high-quality and reliable web applications - Monitor application performance at the post-deployment stage and make necessary changes if needed - Perform code reviews and provide necessary corrections - Perform application design, development, and deployment based on industry best practices - Conduct application testing based on unit test cases - Resolve application defects and issues in a timely manner - Perform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient - Ensure timely delivery of projects Qualification Required: - Highly motivated individuals with a minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role - Good understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), Transact-SQL (DDL, DML, DCL), and Design and Normalization of database tables - Proficiency in business logic using Triggers, Indexes, Views, and Stored procedures - Knowledge of advanced query concepts (e.g., group by, having clause, union, etc.) - Experience in creating and updating Clustered and Non-Clustered Indexes to optimize SQL Server performance - Familiarity with normalizing and de-normalizing tables and maintaining Referential Integrity using Triggers and Primary and Foreign Keys - Ability to transform data from one server to other servers using tools like bulk copy program (BCP), data transformation services, and data conversions Note: Job location is in India, Chennai.,
