PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT OFFICER, NOC

You will be joining the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as part of the Economics of Nature Unit, Biodiversity and Land Branch, Ecosystems Division, based in New Delhi. Your primary responsibility will be the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the project titled True Value Accounting: Making the Economic Case for Food Systems Transformation in India and Kenya. You will report directly to the Head of the Economics of Nature Unit. **Key Responsibilities:** - Implement, monitor, and evaluate the True Value Accounting project in India and Kenya - Provide technical assistance and advisory services for environmental policy implementation - Strengthen environmental management capacity in developing countries and economies in transition **Qualifications Required:** - Job-specific qualification related to environmental economics or a related field - Previous work experience in project implementation and evaluation - Proficiency in English (knowledge of other UN languages is an advantage) This role offers you the opportunity to contribute to sustainable development and environmental conservation on a global scale.
