Description
As a Programme Executive for Performance Arts at Serendipity Arts Foundation, you will play a crucial role in overseeing music and dance programming, including lead-up events, workshops, and festival performances. You will act as the primary liaison between the Foundation and curators, managing project execution, logistics, and production coordination. Your responsibilities will also include supporting marketing and fundraising efforts to promote and secure resources for performances. Your passion for the performing arts, particularly dance and music, along with strong project management skills, are essential to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality artistic experiences. Serendipity Arts Foundation is an organization dedicated to facilitating pluralistic cultural expressions and sparking conversations around the arts in the South Asian region. Committed to innovation and creativity, the Foundation aims to support practice and research in the arts, promote sustainability and education in the field, and initiate various cultural and collaborative initiatives throughout the year. These initiatives involve institutional partnerships with artists and art organizations, educational programs, grants, and outreach programs across India. The vetting process for this role will comprise 2-3 rounds of interviews and may be followed by a brief assignment. Festivals From India is hiring for this position on behalf of Serendipity Arts Foundation. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Delhi, and the salary band for this role is available upon request. Essential Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Performing Arts, Arts Management, Cultural Studies, Event Management, or a related field. - Degrees in Music, Dance, Theatre, or interdisciplinary arts programs would be advantageous. - Equivalent professional experience in programming, production, or arts administration may also be considered in lieu of formal education. Essential Experience: - 3-6 years of work experience in the arts is preferable. - Proficiency with software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCAD, SketchUp would be an advantage. - Knowledge of technical and production aspects of art-related projects would be beneficial. - Strong communication and writing skills, specifically in English. - Excellent skills in Microsoft Office.
