Program Director - Mechanical

You will be responsible for overseeing various academic activities and ensuring the quality and relevance of the academic offerings in the School of Mechanical Engineering at the reputed university in Pune. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing Academic Plan, Sessional Planning, Time table management, and Examinations for the respective Unit/department. - Supervising lectures, practicals, tutorials, and other sessions based on assigned workload. - Reviewing and improving programs, degrees, courses, and specializations periodically. - Ensuring the curriculum is effectively taught within the required timeframe. - Enhancing the overall academic environment for better learning. - Conducting fair and proper examination processes. - Promoting the use of university facilities for student development. - Participating in IQAC activities. - Supporting research culture through real-time projects and assignments. - Ensuring students are industry-ready or prepared for other career opportunities. - Assisting in admissions, counseling students, and managing communications with students, parents, and student bodies. Desired Qualifications and Experience: - Ph.D. from Top-50 Nationally ranked institutions. - Minimum 10 years of teaching experience. - Preferably a background of Professor/Associate Professor. - Demonstrated academic and research reputation at a national level. - Experience in administrative capabilities.
