Role Overview: As an accomplished and forward-thinking academic leader in the field of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Woxsen University, you will have the opportunity to shape the university's technological education and research agenda. Your role will involve mentoring the next generation of AI innovators, engineers, and researchers. Key Responsibilities: - Delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and related domains such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, Robotics, and Data Science. - Developing and revising curriculum in line with the latest industry trends and academic advancements. - Guiding students in projects, hackathons, capstone work, and entrepreneurial ventures to foster a student-centered learning environment that emphasizes critical thinking and innovation. - Conducting advanced research in AI and allied areas with a focus on real-world applications. - Regularly publishing in top-tier peer-reviewed journals such as IEEE, ACM, Scopus, ABDC, etc. - Applying for funded research projects, patents, and collaborative industry grants. - Mentoring junior faculty and research scholars in building strong research pipelines. - Contributing to the university's strategic goals through curriculum development, accreditation processes, and academic policy formation. - Participating in conferences, symposiums, and thought leadership forums representing Woxsen. - Serving on academic committees and contributing to interdisciplinary collaborations across schools. - Building partnerships with AI-focused companies, R&D centers, and tech startups for live projects, internships, and placements. - Facilitating industry certifications, professional workshops, and guest lectures for student and faculty enrichment. - Developing AI labs, research clusters, and centers of excellence on campus to foster innovation. Qualification Required: - Hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related discipline from a recognized institution. - Have a minimum of 5-10 years of teaching and/or industry experience in advanced computer science and AI domains. - Possess a strong research track record with publications in reputed journals/conferences. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, etc. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and edge AI tools is desirable. - Prior experience in curriculum design, academic leadership, or working with accreditation bodies (NBA/NAAC/ABET) will be advantageous for this role.,
