Professor & Dean - School of Design

As the Dean of School located in Pune, you will report to the Chief Academic Officer/Pro Vice-Chancellor and will be responsible for managing Associate Deans & Program Directors. Your primary role will be to oversee academic and administrative functions to ensure program quality, financial success, and institutional growth. Your key responsibilities will include setting and executing long-term goals in alignment with the university's vision, market trends, and academic excellence. You will drive program management, accreditations, faculty and student satisfaction, and reputation building. Additionally, you will be involved in budget planning, fiscal responsibility, and technology integration to enhance academic experiences. Building external engagement with corporate, academic, and SME networks for national and international collaboration will also be a crucial part of your role. Furthermore, you will focus on fostering a positive academic environment, attracting top faculty, and improving retention rates. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Ph.D. from reputable institutions such as IITs/IIMs/ISB/top 50-NIRF or highly ranked QS institutions. You should have professor-level experience with a minimum of 3 years in academic administration and a strong background in research, publication, and financial management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. You should demonstrate the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and drive innovation within the academic environment. Your stakeholders will include internal parties such as university leadership, faculty, students, and non-academic staff, as well as external entities like partner universities, corporate bodies, and accreditation agencies.,
