Professor-CSE

DRIEMS University is seeking an accomplished and visionary Professor-Computer Science to lead teaching, research and academic development within the department. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, significant research contributions, and proven experience in mentoring students and faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Lead curriculum development, syllabus design, and academic planning.
• Supervise Ph.D, postgraduate , and undergraduate research projects.
• Conduct original research, publish in reputed journals, and contribute to sponsored research projects.
• Mentor and guide faculty members, fostering a culture of academic excellence.
• Contribute to departmental administration, strategic planning, and policy-making.
• Organize workshops, conferences, and seminars to enhance departmental visibility.
• Collaborate with industry and research organizations for projects and placements.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Ph.D in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology from a recognized university is mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years of teaching /research experience at University/College level, with at least 4 years as Associate Professor.
• Consistent academic record with significant contributions in research and publications(SCI/Scopus indexed preferred).
• Strong expertise in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity etc.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and mentorship skills.
• Experience in curriculum development, NAAC/ NBA accreditation, and academic governance is desirable.

Qualifications- Ph.D in Computer Science or related discipline with B.Tech/M.Tech or M.Sc /M.Tech
