The Role

We are seeking a highly accomplished and motivated individual for the senior academic position of Professor within the School of Computer Science and Engineering. The role requires exceptional commitment to high-quality teaching, pioneering research, and institutional leadership.

Mandatory Responsibilities and Focus Areas

• Deliver advanced, high-quality instruction for Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs across various core and advanced Computer Science and Engineering specialisations, UG Programmes include: B.Tech (Hons.), B.Sc (Hons.), BCA (Hons.)., PG Programmes include: M.Tech (Hons.)
• Lead, secure funding for, and execute high-impact, subject-specific research projects.
• Provide academic supervision and mentorship, specifically with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates.
• Actively contribute to curriculum design, academic administration, and school governance.

Key Qualifications and Experience

The candidate must demonstrate profound subject/technical expertise and leadership in the academic field, meeting the highest regulatory standards.

Criterion:

• Academic Background Mandatory Specification: Ph.D. degree in the relevant field (Computer Science/Engineering/Allied) is mandatory. First class or equivalent at either the Bachelor's or Master's level in the relevant branch.
• Minimum Experience Mandatory Specification: Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor in a recognised university or college.
• Relevant Work Experience Mandatory Specification: Demonstrated and extensive relevant work experience as a senior faculty member (e.g., Associate Professor, Professor) in recognised universities or colleges.
• Research Output Mandatory Specification: At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals. AND at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor / Co-supervisor (as per AICTE/UGC norms).
