Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the overall academic and administrative operations of the department, developing its vision, goals, and strategies aligned with the institutions mission.
• Supervise, mentor, and appraise faculty members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in the respective discipline.
• Design, review, and continuously update curricula in alignment with industry trends and best practices.
• Introduce innovative teaching methods and technology-enabled learning solutions.
• Monitor teaching effectiveness through student feedback, assessments, and peer reviews.
• Mentor faculty members and guide students in academics, research, and professional development.
• Conduct research, publish in reputed SCI/SCIE/Scopus-indexed journals and supervise research projects.
• Ensure the department meets national and international academic quality standards.
• Prepare reports and documentation for accreditation and ranking purposes.
• Organize workshops, conferences, and departmental events to enhance learning and research culture.
• Contribute to institutional governance and participate in academic committees.
• Organize departmental events, conferences, workshops, faculty development programs, and guest lectures.
• Promote knowledge-sharing initiatives and public engagement activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of teaching experience with at least 3 years at the Associate Professor level.
• Strong research credentials with publications in SCI/SCIE/Scopus-indexed journals.
• Demonstrated ability in academic leadership, curriculum innovation, and faculty/student mentoring.
• Passion for teaching using modern pedagogies and technology-enabled learning.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
