Position Purpose

In the APS (Agile Production Services) CCDA we deliver as Application Production Support Engineer for Payment Applications.

Responsibilities

The job mainly consists of the following elements:

  • We provide End to End Production Services for the Daily Baking, Payments and Risks & Credits Tribes, with as main activities:
  • E2E L2 support of Go-live, service availability and on-call 24/7 L2E2E L3 support of Technology expertise and on-call 24/7 L3
  • In order to provide a reliable IT service for our employees and customers we are the guardian of the operational quality of our IT systemsWe guard an optimal time-to-market / quality balance for our releases, with a special focus at availability and business continuity.We provide an efficient, high quality first and 2nd line support for all IT-solutions.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

As Application Production Support engineer

  • :To fix incidents in QA and in Prod, to provide support to the Payments TribeTo ensure that all deployments are carried out on schedule, are fully deployed, implemented and functioning in the operational environmentsTo help preparing the detailed runbook by identifying all stakeholders and related actionsTo analyze all technical dependencies between the different componentsTo update theCurrent State Architecturedocument based on detailed technical designTo update or create all documentation for the support

As incident solver in run mode

  • :To find, advice and implement solutions in order to solve incidentsTo document the resolution progress and the applied solutionsTo investigate, analyze and document incident cause and solution

To evaluate with the squad Scrum Master if an incident has to be escalated to the Incident Manager on duty (iMod)

Technical Experience:

Mandatory

Good knowledge of Linux

Medior Operating system Linux

Medior Database oracle / SQL

Medior on automated batch scheduling

MS Office XLS, Word, PPT

Preferable

Knowledge of Mainframe:

Mainframe z/OS

DB2 for z/OS, SQL, SPUFI

DB2 and IMS utilities

TSO/ISPF, JCL

Cobol

Experience in Unix/Linux scripting (PowerShell)

Knowledge of MQ Series

Experience in distributed scheduling (CTRL-M)

Experience in a second line

Some knowledge about cloud environments

Experience in deployment of business applications
