Production Supervisor/Engineer

As a Production Supervisor/Engineer at the Leading Sheet Metal Manufacturing Industry in Halol, Gujarat, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and efficiency in the production process. Your key responsibilities will include: - Raising issue slips for consumable tools as per the plan - Allocating manpower resources based on the shift plan provided by PPC - Checking the work in progress at every station to ensure adherence to defined processes - Reviewing daily production reports of each station and making system entries accordingly - Offering products to quality control after the completion of each process - Identifying areas for process improvement to reduce rework and enhance efficiency - Monitoring worker absenteeism and reporting to the shift in charge - Maintaining 5S standards at workstations and the shop floor - Escalating design, planning, and inter-departmental issues to the shift in charge - Reporting machine breakdowns in the system and following up for timely resolution - Highlighting resource shortages to the shift in charge - Providing on-the-job training to workers to enhance skills and reduce defects - Conducting periodic skill reviews of workers and sharing reports with the shift in charge - Preparing and approving shift schedules based on production requirements - Managing shift OT as needed and for worker absenteeism - Handing over shift responsibilities to the next supervisor with a detailed production report - Managing worker leaves through the system Additionally, you will be working in a full-time, permanent role with benefits such as Provident Fund.
