Production Supervisor/Engineer

You are currently seeking a Production Supervisor/Engineer for a leading Sheet Metal Manufacturing Industry located in Halol, Gujarat. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience and hold a Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering. This is an On-Roll job with a 5-day working week and shift timings from 9 AM to 6:30 PM. As a Production Supervisor/Engineer, your responsibilities will include raising issue slips for consumable tools as per the plan, allocating manpower resources based on the shift plan provided by PPC, ensuring that work is carried out as per the defined process standards at every station, and checking the daily production reports of each station. You will also be responsible for making system entries based on actual reports, offering products to the quality department after completing each process, and identifying process improvements to reduce rework and process time. Monitoring the absenteeism of workers, maintaining 5S at each workstation and shop floor, escalating design, planning, and previous department issues to the shift in charge, and raising machine breakdown memos in the system are also part of your duties. Furthermore, you will need to identify resource shortages, provide on-the-job training to workers to minimize defects and process time, review the skills of each worker every 3 months, and prepare and approve shift schedules and OT memos as required. At the end of your shift, you must hand over the shift to the next supervisor with a written production report, raise leave requests for workers in the system, and approve the same.
