Job Title: Production Supervisor – Solar Manufacturing

Location: Khed Shivapur
Salary: Starting from ₹25,000 per month
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Production)
Experience: Minimum 2 years OR Fresher with 8.5+ CGPA

Role Definition

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality solar products with minimum expenses and within stipulated timelines. The role involves managing manpower, production planning, quality control, maintenance, and fostering a culture of discipline, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities / Deliverables1. Staffing & Training

• Identify manpower requirements through time study.
• Recruit suitable candidates as per job requirements.
• Arrange and monitor training for new recruits.
• Conduct upskilling sessions for existing staff for quality improvement.

2. Production Planning & Monitoring

• Plan daily & weekly production schedules as per sales forecast.
• Ensure availability of raw materials & stocks for smooth production.
• Maintain Kanban & hourly production tracking.
• Conduct random quality checks during production.
• Supervise packing & dispatch activities.

3. Machinery Maintenance

• Maintain proper logbook of all machinery.
• Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

4. Reward & Recognition

• Conduct morning & weekly production meetings.
• Track team/individual performance metrics.
• Implement reward system (spot, weekly, monthly) for top performers.

5. Continuous Improvement

• Encourage & monitor innovative ideas from team members.
• Track, review, and support execution of improvement initiatives.

6. Leadership & Soft Skills

• Ensure timeliness & discipline among the team.
• Maintain effective upward & downward communication.
• Act as a role model to inspire the workforce.

Skills Required

• Strong leadership & team management skills.

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Kanban, and process improvement.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
