Production Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the production section. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all packaging activities, managing packaging material inventory, leading and training the packaging team, and ensuring seamless communication with other departments to meet production and dispatch timelines. Key Responsibilities Supervision & Coordination Supervise daily production operations to ensure timely and accurate packing. Coordinate team members and packaging activities to meet production targets. Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, and safety standards. Inventory Management Monitor and manage production material stock. Coordinate with the purchase/warehouse team for timely replenishment. Maintain records of material usage and wastage. Team Leadership & Training Lead and motivate the packaging team to achieve performance goals. Provide on-the-job training to new and existing staff on standard packaging procedures and hygiene practices. Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment with production goals. Planning & Dispatch Coordination Plan and allocate resources for the next day’s packaging and dispatch activities. Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality departments for dispatch planning and timelines. Interdepartmental Communication Act as a key point of contact between packaging and other departments like production, quality, warehouse, and logistics. Report daily packaging performance and issues to the management.
