Role & responsibilities Supervise daily production activities on the shop floor. Ensure timely achievement of production targets and shift-wise output. Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for any breakdowns. Maintain discipline, productivity, and safety among operators and workers. Track raw material consumption and minimize wastage. Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and specifications. Prepare and maintain daily production reports and shift logs. Implement 5S, Kaizen, and other lean manufacturing practices. Train and guide junior operators and helpers. Coordinate with store, dispatch, and quality departments for smooth workflow. Preferred candidate profile Diploma / ITI in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or extrusion (WPC/PVC preferred) Good understanding of shop floor operations, safety, and quality systems Ability to manage a team of operators and laborers Basic computer skills MS Excel, production reporting Should be flexible for rotational shifts
