Production Supervisor

Job Summary:

Ambica Dhatu Pvt. Ltd. a leading chemical manufacturing company, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production, maintain safety and quality standards, and supervise factory personnel to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Supervision
• Plan, monitor, and control production activities to meet daily/weekly targets.
• Ensure proper operation of machinery, equipment, and chemical processes.
• Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and logbooks.
• Team Management
• Allocate work and supervise operators, helpers, and shift staff.
• Provide on-the-job training to ensure skill development and safety awareness.
• Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance of the team
• Quality Control
• Ensure products meet required specifications and quality parameters.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team for testing and adjustments.
• Identify and resolve quality deviations promptly.
• Safety & Compliance
• Enforce workplace safety standards and use of PEP.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and environmental norms.
• Conduct safety drills and participate in incident investigations.
• Process Optimization
• Identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reducing wastage, and cost control.
• Assist in implementing process improvements and best manufacturing practices.
• Coordination & Reporting
• Liaise with maintenance for preventive and breakdown repairs.
• Report daily production status to management.
• Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and procurement teams for smooth workflow.
• Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or related field.Experience:** Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in chemical manufacturing or process industry.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Good understanding of chemical processes, safety norms, and production equipment.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, ERP preferred)
• Work Conditions
• Shift-based role (including night shifts).
• Exposure to chemical fumes, heat, and manufacturing noise (with protective gear provided).
• Standing/walking for long periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent ( 12 Hours Duty )
