Production Supervisor

Job Overview

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and monitoring daily and long-term production targets. You will be responsible for effective allocation of machines, manpower coordination, and real-time troubleshooting. This is a hands-on leadership role that demands responsiveness, operational sharpness, and a people-first approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure daily presence and operational readiness between 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Prepare and execute weekly and monthly production plans aligned with dispatch schedules
• Monitor production targets vs. actuals and share a daily performance report via email to the management team
• Perform root cause analysis for production shortfalls and implement corrective actions
• Allocate machines to operators and monitor effective utilization of CNC, Traub, Milling, and conventional machines
• Plan in advance for raw materials, tools, jigs, and consumables to avoid downtime
• Possess basic machine setting knowledge to assist in setting up machines during breakdowns or critical runs
• Capable of managing a diverse workforce, including employees from North India (U.P.), South Tamil Nadu, and women operators
• Foster a positive and friendly work environment, promoting teamwork, respect, and motivation
• Be responsive, proactive, and clear in accepting or declining assigned responsibilities
• Maintain discipline, energy, and alignment with company values on the shop floor
