Production Shift Incharge (Male)

Role & responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Supervision:

• Lead, motivate, and supervise the shift workforce.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure safety, productivity, and adherence to procedures.
• Train and evaluate subordinates on process and safety practices.

• Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and operational procedures.
• Monitor and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Handle emergencies and troubleshoot operational problems efficiently.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Quality Control:

• Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.

• Equipment Maintenance:

• Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment inspection and upkeep.
• Ensure timely reporting of equipment issues and necessary repairs.

• Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of shift activities, production data, and any incidents.
• Prepare and submit shift reports to management.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Execution of equipment qualifications.
• Planning and executing shift schedules.
• Handling and monitoring various unit operations (reactions, distillation, etc.).
• Monitoring equipment calibration.

1. Monitor Production Schedules:

Ensure production targets are met on time and address any deviations or delays.

2. Supervise and Coordinate Production:

Oversee daily operations of the production line, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient production.

3. Maintain Quality and Safety Standards:

Implement and enforce quality control measures, ensuring products meet specifications and that safety protocols are followed.

4. Identify and Resolve Issues:

Troubleshoot production problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

5. Implement Process Improvements:

Identify opportunities to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

6. Communicate Effectively:

Collaborate with other departments, including supply chain and quality control, to ensure smooth operations.

7. Manage Production People:

Assign tasks, provide training, and monitor employee performance to ensure adherence to company standards.
