Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Testing and Analysis:

    Conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses of chemical compounds and formulations to ensure they meet quality standards. This involves using various analytical techniques and instruments.
  • Raw Material and Product Evaluation:

    Testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality and safety standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting:

    Maintaining accurate records of all tests and analysis conducted, preparing detailed reports on findings, and ensuring proper documentation of all quality control activities.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:

    Identifying and troubleshooting potential issues in the manufacturing process, investigating out-of-specification results, and collaborating with other teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Compliance:

    Ensuring compliance with established standards, regulations, and safety procedures. This includes following guidelines like GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices).
  • Instrument Operation and Maintenance:

    Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments, performing calibrations, and ensuring proper functioning of all tools.
  • Collaboration:

    Working closely with other teams, such as R&D, production, and quality assurance, to address quality issues, implement improvements, and ensure product quality.
  • Method Development and Validation:

    Developing and validating analytical methods for testing and quality control processes.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and optimize testing procedures.
  • Training and Support:

    Providing training and support to other team members on quality control procedures and best practices.

Specific Tasks:

  • Preparing and standardizing reagents and standard materials.
  • Disposing of unused samples and laboratory waste.
  • Participating in stability testing and investigations.
  • Contributing to special projects and participating in departmental meetings.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in chemical analysis techniques.

Preferred candidate profile

M.Sc.(Analytical Chemistry)/B.Sc(Chemistry) or Equivalent Qualification

1)To perform the analysis by following GMP, and safety compliance

2) To perform the sampling, testing of RM, PM, In-process, Intermediate and Finished product.

3) Participate in Investigation of deviation, Incident, OOS etc.

4) To perform all qualification activities of instrument and equipment in QC Lab.

5) Aware of calibration and operation procedure for instruments (balance, K.F, GC. UV, viscometer etc,)

6) Experience of QC software like Tiamo 3.0, Lab solution, SCM etc.

7) Preparation of documents (SOP, protocol etc) related to Quality control.
