Production & Quality Control Engineer

In the role of Production and Quality Incharge & Plant Supervisor at Radhe Hurkat Ispat, you will play a crucial dual role overseeing quality control and plant operations. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the manufacturing facility focusing on maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence throughout the pre-engineered building (PEB) production processes. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive quality control procedures for all stages of the PEB manufacturing process, starting from raw material inspection to final product testing. - Conduct regular audits and inspections to evaluate compliance with quality standards, identify areas for enhancement, and implement necessary corrective actions. - Supervise all plant operations, including production, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules. - Plan and coordinate production activities, allocate resources efficiently, and optimize workflow to meet production targets and customer requirements. - Collaborate closely with production teams to address quality-related issues, offer guidance on best practices, and ensure compliance with quality specifications. - Lead a team of quality control inspectors and production personnel, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to enhance skills and drive continuous improvement. - Monitor production processes and equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. - Maintain accurate records of quality control data, production activities, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance schedules, and prepare reports for management review. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and best practices in health, safety, and environmental management. - Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence, promoting employee engagement and creating a positive work environment. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field. - Proven experience in quality control or assurance, along with supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the PEB or steel industry. - Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive performance improvement initiatives. - Sound knowledge of quality management principles, production processes, equipment, and safety protocols. - Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and organizational levels. - Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and production management software.
