Job Description

Production & Planning Control Manager role at Jashnfoods, specifically for the Karnal (Gharaunda) location: Job Title: Production & Planning Control Manager Location: Jashnfoods Manufacturing Facility, Gharaunda, Karnal, Haryana Experience: 3 to 8 years in Food/FMCG/Agro/Processing units Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Control: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts and inventory requirements. Ensure optimum utilization of raw materials, manpower, and machinery. Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, quality, and operations teams for seamless production flow. Monitor and track production output against the plan and take corrective actions for deviations. Inventory & Material Planning: Plan RM/PM (Raw & Packaging Materials) availability based on production schedules. Reduce wastage and ensure zero stock-outs through just-in-time planning. Maintain inventory reports and coordinate with stores and purchase departments. MIS & Reporting: Generate daily, weekly & monthly MIS reports on production, yield, downtime, and efficiency. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements. Present performance KPIs and variances to management. Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to FSSAI, food safety, and internal quality protocols during planning and execution. Support audits and maintain proper documentation. Team Coordination: Work closely with production supervisors and shift in-charges to align manpower and machinery planning. Support HR in managing overtime, absenteeism, and shift planning based on load. Desired Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s in Food Technology / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering / B.Sc. or related fields. Experience in food processing (snacks, spices, pulses, oil, grains, or similar). Proficient in Excel (advanced), ERP/SAP (preferred). Strong analytical, planning, and coordination skills. Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices is a plus.
