Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and forecast.
Coordinate with the sales, purchase, and stores departments to ensure material availability.
Plan manpower, machines, and material requirements as per production targets.
Review and adjust schedules as required due to material shortages, machine breakdowns, or urgent orders.

2. Material Planning & Coordination

Ensure timely availability of raw materials, consumables, and packaging materials.
Follow up with the purchase and stores departments for inventory management.
Monitor WIP (Work in Progress) levels and maintain optimal stock levels.

3. Production Control

Track daily production output and ensure adherence to the plan.
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
Coordinate with maintenance and quality departments for smooth production flow.
Ensure minimum downtime and maximum equipment utilization.

4. Data Analysis & Reporting

Maintain production records and prepare MIS reports (Daily/Weekly/Monthly).
Monitor KPIs such as machine efficiency, yield, rejections, and delivery performance.
Present analysis to management and suggest corrective actions for deviations.
