Production Manager

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Plan production activities to meet customer requirements, ensuring timely delivery of products. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management. Develop and implement lean manufacturing systems to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement on the shop floor and implement kaizen initiatives to drive continuous process enhancements. Ensure effective manpower handling by allocating resources efficiently, providing training where necessary, and maintaining high levels of employee motivation. Desired Candidate Profile 5-7 years of experience in a similar role within the auto components industry. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing System (LMS) principles and practices. Excellent knowledge of Production Planning Control (PPC), including capacity planning, scheduling, and inventory management. Proven track record in implementing successful kaizen initiatives that result in significant improvements in productivity or quality.
