Urgently Hiring for Production Manager/ Manufacturing Operations for Railway Product Line at our Leading Manufacturing Company KSE Electrical at Howrah Factory Job Summary: Responsible for managing manufacturing operations for railway products, with a focus on quality, safety, and delivery. Requires hands-on expertise in Production Day to Day operation in ERC, PLC systems, switchgear integration, and coordination with design teams. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee production of railway components, including electrical systems and mechanical assemblies.• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and industry standards.• Apply knowledge of PLC systems, switchgear, and control panels in manufacturing and testing. Collaborate with design and R&D teams to optimize manufacturability.• Team coordination for Quality PMP , Audit and Damage Control.• Manage production pipeline with the executives; Ensure minimum down-time; Track machine utilization to adhere to optimum levels• Manage production pipeline with the executives; Ensure minimum down-time; Track machine utilization to adhere to optimum levels• Manage production pipeline with the executives; Ensure minimum down-time; Track machine utilization to adhere to optimum levels• Oversee the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment• Control wastage of resources, machines, raw materials, chemicals and other accessories• Guide implementation of process improvement mechanisms and techniques identified and validated by the team• Ensure that the safety standards are maintained on the floor at all times• Guide implementation of process improvement mechanisms and techniques identified and validated by the team• Control wastage of resources, machines, raw materials, chemicals and other accessories• Track team performance at an overall and individual level and provide support/ guidance wherever required to ensure achievement of yearly plans Drive continuous improvement, lean practices, and team development. Qualifications: Bachelors in Mechanical/Electrical/Production Engineering. 12 years of experience only from railway or similar industrial manufacturing . Strong knowledge in PLC, switchgear systems, and design for manufacturing . Experience with fabrication, assembly, and electrical testing, Maintenance processes.
