1. Production Planning & Control Develop and implement production schedules in line with sales forecasts and customer requirements. Allocate resources effectively to meet production targets. Monitor production KPIs such as output, downtime, efficiency, and waste reduction. 2. Team Management Supervise and coordinate the activities of the production team including engineers, supervisors, and machine operators. Provide training and development to ensure team competency. Enforce discipline, safety, and adherence to company policies. 3. Quality Assurance Ensure all machinery produced meets technical and quality standards (ISO, BIS, etc.). Collaborate with the Quality Control team to implement and monitor quality systems. Investigate and resolve production issues and quality complaints. 4. Process Improvement Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen practices to improve operational efficiency. Identify bottlenecks and suggest/implement corrective actions. Participate in cost reduction initiatives without compromising product quality. 5. Coordination & Reporting Coordinate with R&D, design, procurement, and maintenance departments. Maintain regular production reports and present them to upper management. Liaise with clients for technical support and customizations when required.
