Title:

Production Incharge (810 years)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee the execution of production batches as per SOPs to ensure consistent quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
2. Supervise and perform reactions involving

   hydrogenation, pyrophoric reagents, Raney Nickel

   , and

   high-pressure operations

   (autoclaves).
3. Ensure all production activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and within approved parameters.
4. Monitor process parameters, identify deviations, and coordinate with the senior management and QA/QC teams for timely corrective actions.
5. Plan, allocate, and monitor manpower and resources to achieve daily and monthly production targets.
6. Maintain detailed batch manufacturing records, process logs, and deviation reports.
7. Ensure optimal operation of production equipment such as reactors, filters, centrifuges, and dryers, and oversee their routine maintenance.
8. Train and guide production chemists and operators on process safety, equipment handling, and documentation practices.
9. Collaborate closely with the R&D, Quality Assurance, and Engineering departments for process improvements and scale-up activities.
10. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
11. Uphold EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards and promptly report any unsafe conditions or incidents.
12. Participate actively in internal and external

    audits

    and ensure all GMP and documentation requirements are met.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry (B.Sc/M.Sc Chemistry) from a recognized university810 years of relevant experience in API or intermediate manufacturing, with strong expertise in

   hydrogenation and high-pressure reactions

   .
2. Proven experience in leading production teams and managing large-scale batch operations.
3. Good understanding of GMP, safety standards, and documentation protocols.
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination abilities.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

• Requires close visual monitoring of chemical reactions and equipment performance, strong attention to detail, and the ability to make precise operational adjustments.
• The role involves extended periods of standing and movement on the production floor.
• Must adhere to all safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment due to potential exposure to hazardous materials and heavy machinery.
