Role and responsibilities: We are seeking a seasoned Head of Project with proven experience in construction and layout development, especially in villa construction and finishing works. The ideal candidate must be willing to stay at the project site and take full ownership of planning, executing, and completing construction projects on time and within budget. He will lead and guide the project team, coordinate with all stakeholders, and ensure quality control and safety compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Take complete charge of project execution at the site level, including planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting. Stay full-time at the site to closely monitor daily work progress and ensure timely completion of milestones. Guide and lead the site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and labour teams for effective implementation of works. Prepare and review work schedules, budgets, manpower deployment, and material requirements. Ensure adherence to approved plans, technical specifications, and finishing standards, especially in villa construction. Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and clients to resolve technical and execution issues. Implement safety measures, quality control checks, and site discipline across all teams. Track project timelines and provide progress updates to senior management. Identify and resolve bottlenecks to prevent project delays. Maintain documentation of work progress, materials used, site reports, and approvals. Ensure cost control and efficient use of resources on-site. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Masters degree is an advantage. Minimum 20+ years of hands-on experience in construction project execution, with a focus on lay out development, villa projects and finishing works. Strong site management and leadership skills. Experience in layout development and infrastructure works is a plus. Excellent knowledge of construction methods, project planning tools (MS Project/Primavera), and quality standards. Ability to work independently, stay at remote site locations, and lead diverse teams. Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills. Decision-Making – Confident in making quick, effective decisions during project execution. Crisis & Risk Management – Ability to anticipate project risks and implement corrective actions. Communication & Coordination Client & Stakeholder Communication – Clear communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors. Coordination Skills – Coordinating with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and local authorities. Software and Technology Proficiency Construction Software – Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, ERP tools, and site monitoring software. Reporting Tools – Ability to create and present progress reports, dashboards, and MIS to management.
