Job Description

As a CNC VMC Machinist, you will be responsible for programing CNC VMC machines using CAM software such as Mastercam and FANUC Oi MF Plus. Your role will involve reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T symbols to ensure precise machining operations. Key Responsibilities: - Create set up procedures and design optimal setups for VMC machines to carry out tasks like drilling, milling, and tapping on metal or plastic parts. - Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and machining parameters for efficient operations. - Verify programs and conduct trial runs to guarantee accuracy and quality of machined parts. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during setup and machining processes. - Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, CMM, etc. to maintain quality standards. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in programming CNC VMC machines using CAM software. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T symbols. - Experience in creating setup procedures and designing optimal setups for machining operations. - Strong knowledge of selecting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters. - Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues during setup and machining. - Familiarity with inspecting finished parts using precision measuring instruments. You will be working full-time with health insurance benefits. The work location is in person.,
