Production Executive

As a Production Executive at Cargill's food and bioindustrial business, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of all production processes within a single technical process or shift. You will be responsible for maintaining safety, quality, efficiency, and financial performance standards. Additionally, you may be required to undertake project work off shift and deputize in the absence of the shift manager. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in day-to-day operations for the assigned area, ensuring compliance with safety and food/feed safety policies and procedures. - Monitor product quality and ensure it meets customer specifications. - Uphold company safety and hygiene standards. - Provide training to employees to ensure their safety and product safety. - Support and manage the production budget for the department, process, or shift. - Mentor production workers, participate in their selection, and handle performance reviews, training needs, and disciplinary actions. - Identify risks, recommend areas for improvement and innovation. - Address basic issues and escalate complex problems to appropriate staff. - Perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry or equivalent experience. - 2-3 years of relevant experience. - Effective communication and team development skills. - Proficiency in computer literacy. - Previous experience as a team leader in a production environment or demonstrated ability in a skilled operative position. - Other minimum qualifications may apply. Preferred Qualifications: - Lean Six Sigma experience. - Knowledge in SAP would be advantageous. - Willingness to work in shifts. Protect yourself against recruitment fraud.
