Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Plan and execute daily production activities as per PPC plan
Supervise rubber molding operations (Compression molding)
Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and safety standards
Monitor cycle time, productivity, rejection, and downtime
Coordinate with Mixing, Tool Room, Maintenance, and Quality departments
Implement process improvements to reduce scrap and improve efficiency
Handle manpower allocation and shift management
Ensure proper machine setting, parameter control, and mold changeover
Support quality activities like in-process inspection, PDI, and root cause analysis
Maintain production records, MIS reports, and shift logs
Support audits (ISO / IATF / Customer audits)
Ensure housekeeping and 5S in the production area

Preferred candidate profile

Knowledge of rubber compounds and curing process
Understanding of defects and corrective actions
Familiarity with OEE, Kaizen, TPM, and Lean Manufacturing
Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949
Leadership and problem-solving skills
