Job Description

Female Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Production Oversight:
Supervise the assembly and chemical processing lines for detonators, ensuring all manufacturing steps comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Production Planning:
Develop and execute production schedules to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual output targets.
Material Readiness:
Manage raw material inventory and ensure the readiness of sensitive chemical components to maintain an uninterrupted production flow.
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce stringent safety protocols mandatory for an explosives plant, including the prevention of electrostatic discharge and adherence to
PESO (Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization)
guidelines.
Reporting:
Prepare and submit detailed Daily Production Reports (DPR) to senior management, tracking yields, rejections, and downtime.
Shift Management:
Oversee operations across multiple shifts, ensuring smooth handovers and consistent quality standards.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills

Education:
B.Tech / B.E. in
Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
(Mandatory).
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a chemical process or manufacturing plant (preference for candidates with experience in explosives, pyrotechnics, or hazardous chemical industries).
Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of chemical stability, sensitivity to shock/friction, and hazardous material handling.
Shift Flexibility:
Must be willing and ready to work in any assigned shift.
