PRODUCTION DESIGNER

We are looking for a skilled Production Designer with strong experience in furniture design, detailing, and technical drawings. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of design for manufacturability, materials, joinery techniques, and be able to translate concepts into precise production-ready drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings for furniture pieces including joinery, dimensions, and material specifications.
• Work closely with the design and production teams to translate design concepts into manufacturing-ready plans.
• Ensure designs meet structural and aesthetic standards, as well as cost and material constraints.
• Revise and update drawings as required based on feedback from production or clients.
• Develop cutting lists, hardware lists, and other production documentation.
• Assist in prototyping, identifying potential design issues before mass production.
• Maintain organized drawing files and version control.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in furniture design and production detailing.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) and Production software such as Infurnia etc.
• Good understanding of materials (wood, veneer, laminates, metals, upholstery, etc.) and production techniques.
• Strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in 3D modeling and rendering tools
• Knowledge of CNC and modular manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with design trends and ergonomic standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
