Production- CNC Milling Operator

Reporting to the Shift in charge, the multi axis Operator, you will be responsible for setting up,operating, and maintaining machines to produce precision parts and components according todrawing and required specifications.

Roles And Responsibilities

Interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documents to determine machiningoperations and setup requirementsSet up 5 axis machines by installing and aligning workpieces, tooling, and cutting toolsOperate CNC machines to perform Milling, grooving and 3D profile operations on variousmaterialsAdjust machine controls (e.g., speed, feed rate, depth of cut) to achieve desired machiningoutcomes and maintain quality standardsInspect machined parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and adherence to tolerancerequirements using precision measuring instruments (callipers, micrometres)Perform in-process inspections and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and consistency of parts Conduct routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and tooling replacementMonitor tool wear and replace cutting tools, inserts, and tool holders as necessary to optimize machining performanceFollow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environmentAdhere to company policies and regulatory requirements related to machine operation,workplace safety, and environmental standards

Preferred Candidate Profile

Proven experience as a Multi axis or similar role in a Production environmentProficiency in setting up and operating Sinumeric control machinesFamiliar in creating the 2D programs and cutting tool selection as per the requirementsAbility to interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong attitude in quality safety and mindset and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and commitment to quality and productivityShould be a good team player
