Job Description

1. Production Operations

Execute and monitor extraction, concentration, solvent recovery, and drying operations for herbal extracts.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, batch manufacturing records (BMR), and GMP guidelines.
Handle extraction equipment such as extractors, evaporators, centrifuges, dryers, and filtration units.
Verify raw material identity and ensure proper charging of herbs and solvents.
Maintain in-process checks (temperature, pressure, pH, density, moisture, time).

2. Documentation & Compliance

Prepare and maintain production documents such as BMR, logbooks, daily reports, and deviation reports.
Ensure adherence to GMP, FSSAI, AYUSH, and internal quality standards.
Support audits (internal, customer, regulatory) by providing required documentation.

3. Quality Assurance & Control Support

Coordinate with QA/QC for sampling, testing, and batch release.
Ensure proper cleaning, CIP/SIP procedures, and line clearance before each batch.
Report and investigate OOS / OOT / deviations as applicable.

4. Equipment Handling & Safety

Monitor equipment performance and inform maintenance for breakdowns or preventive maintenance.
Ensure safe handling of solvents (ethanol, methanol, hexane, etc.) and hazardous chemicals.
Comply with EHS, fire safety, and waste disposal procedures.
