Product Security Specialist

As a member of the SAP Security Patch Quality Assurance Team, you will play a crucial role in managing the quality assurance of security patches for vulnerabilities reported by independent security researchers, customers, and partners, in collaboration with engineering teams across SAP. You will be part of a dynamic international team of experienced security experts dedicated to ensuring the security of SAP applications. **Key Responsibilities:** - Participate in bug bounty programs aimed at identifying and resolving security vulnerabilities. - Collaborate with security researchers, customers, and partners to assess and address security issues. - Manage the quality assurance of security patches to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of patch management processes. - Work closely with engineering teams to validate and implement security patches in a timely and efficient manner. - Contribute to the overall security posture of SAP applications by proactively identifying and mitigating security risks. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. - Solid understanding of security principles, best practices, and common vulnerabilities. - Experience in quality assurance, patch management, or security research is a plus. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a global team environment. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
