As a Senior Product Owner in the Codified Controls team within Developer Enablement department at Citi, you will play a crucial role in revolutionizing how policies, standards, and controls are managed through the "everything-as-code" initiative. Your primary responsibility will be to provide product leadership and strategic direction, fostering a product mindset and driving cultural change across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional value incrementally while ensuring a world-class user experience. With over 11 years of experience in product ownership in application development/management, you will champion a user-centric approach by deeply understanding user needs and translating them into a compelling product vision and roadmap. Proficiency in tools like Figma, Miro, or Mural will be essential for facilitating stakeholder workshops. Collaborating with engineering teams, you will design, build, and maintain exceptional product experiences while acting as the voice of the user, bridging the gap between business and technical teams. Your role will involve managing the Epic workflow of the new product team, supporting engineering goals, and driving cultural change by encouraging continuous improvement and critical thinking about controls and processes. You will lead by example, demonstrating problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a pragmatic approach to risk management. Your inclusive mindset, growth orientation, and enthusiasm for creating products based on real user needs will be key in fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. To succeed in this role, you must have a proven track record as a product leader managing agile products end-to-end, with expertise in data-driven decision-making and Jira for task management. Your ability to break down complex requirements into user stories and tasks, along with stakeholder management skills, will be critical for success. Additionally, your familiarity with tools like FigJam for workshops and analytics for reporting outcomes will be beneficial.
